Sharon Jones for Columbia!

Mid-Missouri DSA is proud to endorse Sharon Jones for Columbia City Council, Ward 4. 

Sharon has consistently fought for the civil rights and equality that DSA has long stood for. In her role as an attorney, she has defended Missourians from institutional discrimination and government overreach. As a lobbyist, she has elevated the voices of the marginalized through her work with the NAACP, Missourians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty, and PROMO. As a candidate, she has proven that she will fight for a livable wage for city employees, expanding affordable housing, and putting her community's voices first. 

Mid-Missouri DSA believes Sharon's vast civil service experience, her dedication to her community, and her commitment to standing up for the people of Columbia make her the best choice for Ward 4. Sharon is running to fill the 4th Ward city council seat in the upcoming election on August 4. Until election day, Mid-Missouri DSA members will be knocking doors across the ward to build support and awareness for this pivotal election.
