VOTE YES: AMENDMENT 1

A yes vote on Amendment 1 will continue funding for our state parks and conservation programs. 

VOTE YES: AMENDMENT 2

A yes vote on Amendment 2 will allow every county to elect their assessor, rather than allow unelected officials to take the role. 

VOTE NO: AMENDMENT 4

This Amendment would destroy the initiative petition process in Missouri, by forcing citizen-proposed legislation to pass in all of the 8 congressional districts, rather than by a simple majority statewide. This effectively robs the people of majority rule and a voice in the lawmaking process. 

VOTE NO: AMENDMENT 5

This Amendment would swap out the income tax for an “everything tax” on the services working Missourians use every day. It would place a greater tax burden on the working class while decimating the state budget used for essential services, all to hand the richest residents of the state their biggest tax break in history. 

VOTE SPENCER S. SMITH FOR ASSOCIATE CIRCUIT JUDGE CIRCUIT 13 DIVISION 9

Mid-Missouri DSA is proud to endorse Spencer Smith, a public defender, activist, and DSA member, for Associate Judge. As a judge, he will work to address the fundamental inequalities of our justice system, and has committed to zealously defend due process, equality under the law, and human rights, no matter the political or personal cost. 

VOTE SHARON G. JONES FOR WARD 4 COLUMBIA CITY COUNCILOR

Mid-Missouri DSA is proud to endorse Sharon Jones for Columbia Ward 4. Sharon Jones has spent years as an attorney and lobbyist fighting for civil rights, privacy, and equality. She has pledged to support Mid-Missouri DSA priorities like ending the contract with FLOCK Safety, overturning the anti-panhandling ordinance, and finding a path to Universal Pre-K in Columbia. 

VOTE HARTZELL GRAY FOR UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 4

Kansas City DSA is proud to make Hartzell Gray their first endorsement for federal office. Hartzell is a working class, grassroots candidate who will represent and prioritize working Missourians in Congress. 

VOTE CORI BUSH FOR UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 1

DSA National and ST. Louis DSA are proud to endorse Cori Bush, a proven and unwavering supporter of the working class and democratic socialist values. 

VOTE BETHANY MANN FOR UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 3

Bethany Mann is a committed progressive who has marched alongside Mid-Missouri DSA in support of environmental protection and labor and LGBTQ+ rights. She is the best choice to beat Bob Onder in November, and bring working class Mid-Missouri values to Congress.
